On Jan 19, Bank of Singapore announced the appointment of Collins Chin as Global Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. Chin is a familiar figure to media and analysts as the head of investor relations at results' briefings of Bank of Singapore's parent, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp.
Chin joined OCBC in July 2009 as the head of Group Financial and Management Reporting. He assumed the position of head of investor relations in May 2013.
In this role, Chin spearheaded engagement with the investment community, drove effective messaging of OCBC’s strategy and priorities, and led investor engagement for OCBC’s capital raising and merger and acquisition initiatives. Prior to this appointment, Chin was the head of investor retlations at Singapore Stock Exchange.
Chin will be a member of Bank of Singapore's global management committee, reporting to Bank of Singapore’s CEO Jason Moo.
