Law firm Slater & Gordon has reportedly filed a class action with the Federal Court of Australia, alleging breached laws and its own policies by failing to adequately protect customer data and destroy or de-identify former customer data.
“Optus has yet to be served with any court documents on the matter,” says Optus in a statement on April 21.
“As previously announced, any class action will be vigorously defended,” adds Optus.
