Ching Wei Hong, OCBC's deputy president, will be retiring from Oct 1.

The 62-year-old joined the bank in 1999.

He took on his current role on Jan 9 2020, after holding other appointments such as the bank’s CFO and COO.

Among his other responsibilities over OCBC’s consumer banking business, Ching oversees the bank’s wealth management unit, Bank of Singapore, and the brokerage, OCBC Securities.

He is deputy chairman of Lion Global Investors, the asset manager linked to the bank, as well.
