Sembcorp Marine’s (SembMarine) wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms, has entered into an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract with a major energy company for a gas topsides project in Australia.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
The work will last for an estimated period of four years.
The contract is not expected to have any material impact on SembMarine’s net tangible assets (NTA) and earnings per share (EPS) for the FY2022 ending December.
Shares in SembMarine closed 0.1 cent lower or 0.99% down at 10 cents on July 18.
