OKP Holdings’ wholly-owned subsidiary has secured a $22.6 million contract from JTC for infrastructure works at Cleantech Loop.
The subsidiary, Eng Lam Contractors, will deliver civil and infrastructure works spanning roads, sewers, drainage and connectivity enhancements within CleanTech Park, one of the five precincts within JTC’s Jurong Innovation District.
The road works involve constructing a new dual-two lane road as an extension of the existing CleanTech Loop adjacent to The Potter’s Garden to the junction leading to the upcoming Jurong Region Line MRT Station.
In addition, the project includes the installation of a new sewer line and drainage system, as well as the construction of an approximately 750-square metre elevated connection slab with pedestrian and cycling paths, a covered linkway and bicycle parking.
Other works comprise earthworks, slope stabilisation, landscaping and mechanical and electrical provisions.
The contract, which lasts for 22 months, commenced in October and is expected to be completed in August 2027.
