Vividthree has explained that the change in its continuing sponsor was due to "commercial reasons". The company issued a statement on Oct 9 in response to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited's (SGX-ST) query.

"The company appreciates the efforts of the previous sponsor and there has been no disagreement," it added.
