Frasers Property Vietnam has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with regional logistics provider SPX Express on May 28. The comes after a collaboration between the same parties in March 2024, where Frasers completed and delivered a 106,000 sqm sorting facility at the BDIP Premium Industrial Park earlier this year.

Under the latest agreement, Frasers PropertyVietnam will develop SPX’s newest automated sorting centre in Hung Yen province in Northern Vietnam.

The centre is scheduled to be completed in 2027 and will measure some 170,000 sqm, making it SPX’s largest automated sorting centre in Southeast Asia.

The centre is said to be the first of its kind with cross-docking over two floors and with fully independent traffic flows on both floors. It will also have next-generation two-storey automated sorting machines (ASMs) that will enable SPX to process up to seven million parcels per day.

Construction of the facility at Industrial Centre Yen My will commence from the third quarter of 2025 with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.

Shares in Frasers Property closed flat at 82 cents on May 28.
