The development is also expected to facilitate the enhancement of S. F. Express Singapore’s expansion across Southeast Asia and globally.
With the launch, the group adds that the expected on-airport processing time is set to be reduced from 4 - 6 hours to 1.5 - 2 hours. The airside logistics centre will feature direct access to the airside which will enable “the efficient transfer of cargo between the tarmac and the logistics centre”.
Additionally, the access will is also expected to speed up the process of sorting and distribution of imports, which will enhance S.F Express’ cargo sorting and transshipment capacity in Singapore, reads the release.
