The restructuring reflects Sats’ decision to continue investing in Singapore as a leading aviation hub, while scaling its international presence to capture growth opportunities overseas.
The Singapore Hub arm will focus on Sats’ ability to support current and future needs for Singapore’s Air Hub, which groups Changi Airport, Seletar Airport and the aviation industries at these gateways. It aims to improve the operational efficiency, performance and ultimately, experience for airport users in Singapore.
Henry Low, who is currently Sats COO, will assume the post of Singapore Hub CEO upon the restructuring.
On the other hand, Gateway Services Asia-Pacific will concentrate on growing the group’s Asia Pacific market share. The business unit will manage operations in overseas airports, including Sats’ network of overseas stations in the Asia Pacific region via subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates.

The restructuring announcement is aligned with Sats’ overarching goal and ambition to accelerate its growth into a global multinational corporation, says Sats president and CEO Kerry Mok. “The Singapore Hub represents our commitment to ensure the continued success of Singapore’s aviation sector and Changi Airport, by providing Singapore’s airports with safe and efficient operations around the clock.”
“We are proud of the reputation that Sats Gateway Services has earned in supporting airlines and customers at Changi Airport,” Mok adds.
