High Court judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali found Najib guilty on Tuesday (July 28) but did not release a verdict. The verdict will be delivered at 4pm.
Each charge carries a prison sentence of up to 15 to 20 years.
Najib is also the first Malaysian prime minister to be convicted in a criminal court.
Najib currently faces over 40 charges in relation to the 1MDB scandal, with another 35 charges pending. He has pleaded his innocence at the start of the trials.
At least US$4.5 billion ($6.2 billion) was alleged to have been taken from the 1MDB fund, which was intended to be a sovereign fund to promote economic development.
Prior to the trial, Najib pleaded not guilty.
The former premier said in a Facebook post the night before the trial, that it is his chance to clear his name.
