SINGAPORE (Nov 22): City Developments, CapitaLand, Singapore Telecommunications, Olam International and DBS Group Holdings have emerged as the top 5 Singapore Exchange (SGX) listed companies that adopt the best practices in sustainability communication.

This is according to the latest findings from the Sustainability Reporting in Singapore 2018 study by National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School’s Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) and Asean CSR Network (ACN).

The study also revealed a 76% rise in the number of SGX-listed companies communicating sustainability. In 2018, 327 out of a total of 678, or 48.3%, of SGX mainboard and Catalist-listed companies, communicated their sustainability practices, up from 37.1% in 2016 and 31.3% in 2014.
