SINGAPORE (Apr 9): Keppel Offshore & Marine’s (Keppel O&M) wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Singmarine, has secured a contract by Mitsui & Co (Asia Pacific) to build a dual-fuel bunker tanker to be owned and by Sinanju Tanker Holdings, based on a finance agreement with Mitsui AP.

The 7,990 dwt dual-fuel bunker tanker is scheduled for delivery in 2H 2019, and will be built to deliver marine fuels to ocean-going vessels within local port limits.

This will also mark the first liquid natural gas (LNG) fuelled bunkering vessel for Singapore as well as for Sinanju, says Keppel Corp in a press release on Monday.
