SINGAPORE (Sept 15): Keppel Corporation confirmed that efforts are ongoing to carry out an IPO and listing of a US commercial real estate investment trust (REIT) on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange.

On Sept 7, The Edge Singapore reported KBS Realty Advisors, the US real-estate investment firm, was in talks with the asset-management arm of Keppel Corp. to form a joint venture to raise about US$500 million ($673 million) via a Singapore initial public offering of some of its US office assets as a REIT later this year.
