Jardine Strategic to replace SIA Engineering as STI constituent

SINGAPORE (Aug 31): Jardine Strategic Holdings will replace SIA Engineering as one of 30 largest stocks of the Straits Times Index with effect from Sept 18.

This follows the quarterly review of the index by its publishers FTSE, Singapore Press Holdings and the Singapore Exchange.

Jardine Strategic will maintain a potential 3.7% weight in the index, based on its June 30 free-float capitalisation.
