iX Biopharma launches new supplements unit

SINGAPORE (May 15): Specialty pharmaceutical firm iX Biopharma on Monday incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, Entity Health, to promote and market the group’s supplements business.

Entity is the group’s third business arm, and will complement its existing pharmaceuticals and chemical analysis businesses.

According to iX Biopharma, global supplements sales have increased by 50% from 2009 to US$88 billion ($123 billion) in 2014 as a result of the growth in demand for supplements in the consumer healthcare market.
