GIC appoints Wu Choy Peng as CTO from Aug 14

SINGAPORE (Aug 14): GIC has announced the appointment of Wu Choy Peng as its first-ever chief technology officer (CTO) with effect from today.

The new position of CTO was created to augment GIC’s leadership bench as it prepares for an environment of increasing disruptive innovation, says the sovereign wealth fund in a press release on Monday.

According to GIC, Wu will play a crucial role in developing GIC’s technology vision, strategic direction and future growth in technology to strengthen organisational capabilities – in addition to developing integrated oversight for technology and data analytics.
