SINGAPORE (March 31): China Everbright Water, the Bermuda-incorporated investment and operation company focusing on integrated environmental water services, has won a bid for a water supply project in Shandong Province, China, which commands a total investment of approximately RMB 3.1 billion ($628.6 million).

In a Friday announcement, Everbright Water says the Ji’nan Zhangqiu Urban-Rural Integration Water Supply Project will be invested, constructed, operated and maintained by a project company to be jointly established by itself and the Public Utility Bureau of Zhangqiu District, Ji’nan City.

Everbright Water will hold an 80% equity stake in the company, which the group says will be responsible for a number of construction projects within the administrative areas of the Zhangqiu District, such as water source expansion and the construction of pipeline networks & reusable water projects, among others.
