BlackGold Natural Resources in joint bid with China Huadian Engineering for Riau project

SINGAPORE (June 12): PT Samantaka, a subsidiary of BlackGold Natural Resources, has entered into a conditional term sheet with China Huadian Engineering for the joint development, construction, operation and maintenance of a 2 x 300 MW coal-fired power plant in Riau, Indonesia.

This follows BlackGold’s entry into a consortium agreement with China Huadian for participation in a bid to provide electric power to PT PLN earlier in Dec 2015.

BlackGold and China Huadian will hold respective stakes of 44% and 51% in the JV with third party affiliates and working partners holding the remaining 5%.
