Once a sleepy neighbourhood prized by nostalgia-seekers and Friday night drinkers, Holland Village is now a buzzing locale, having undergone a massive reinvention in recent years. New malls and developments have sprung up at every corner — including Quincy House, the first serviced residence by Far East Hospitality.
Located beside the One Holland Village mall, Quincy House also offers direct access to a large array of F&B options. Those seeking local favourites can instead hop over to the Holland Village Market & Food Centre, just a short walk away.
Inside Quincy House, amenities include a 24-hour gym, self-service launderette, and an al-fresco kitchen, as well as a rooftop pool with a poolside lounge area. The residence offers four room types, with sizes ranging from 247 square feet for a deluxe room to 721 square feet for a two-bedroom deluxe apartment.
Stays begin at six nights, with special rates available for longer stays. Extending the pet-friendly theme of One Holland Village, pet-friendly rooms are also available at Quincy House upon request.

Our time here begins at the second-floor lobby; we’re first invited to try a juice shot as we check in before going on a quick tour of the common areas and snapping a Polaroid shot to commemorate our stay. Service is warm and friendly, with the residence’s “Qurators” always quick to assist whenever needed.
Beyond the check-in counter is a dining area that doubles up as a co-working space, thanks to thoughtfully placed power sockets; this is also where a “grab-and-go” breakfast is served on weekday mornings. Past this is a snack corner and the al-fresco kitchen, attached to another dining area that comfortably seats 20.

Up in our two-bedroom deluxe apartment, we’re greeted by a “See You At Quincy” welcome kit comprising a collapsible water bottle, cotton mesh bag and a pair of foldable sunglasses in a cute round case. It’s a thoughtful gift for those who might want to venture out into the sunny outdoors.
The apartment comes with all the usual amenities, along with a water filter (no plastic bottles here), a washer-dryer and a fully furnished kitchenette, as well as two bathrooms with smart toilets. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the apartment allow plenty of light to enter during the day. At night, these windows give dramatic views of the surrounding areas while creating a cosy atmosphere within the apartment.
Those coming for longer stays will also appreciate the suite of storage solutions available in each room, including compartments under each bed and wardrobe. Housekeeping is available daily, except on Sundays and public holidays.
With its suite of amenities — and everything else you might need just a stone’s throw away — Quincy House makes a perfect place for a quiet extended getaway or business trip. “Home away from home” is perhaps a bit of a cliché, but we can’t deny that’s exactly how we feel about the place.
