Simpson Marine presented the Sanlorenzo 126 super yacht and the Monte Carlo Yachts 96. Princess Yachts, with local dealer Boat Lagoon Yachting, showed off a fleet of yachts featuring three regional debuts, including the Princess F45, the latest addition to the Princess flybridge range.
Ferretti Group, with local dealer Hong Seh Marine, displayed the FY920 maxi flybridge while Sunseeker presented the stunning new Sunseeker 76. Fountaine Pajot thrilled visitors with three catamarans, two of which made their regional premieres — the new MY40 motor yacht and the Alegria 67.
There was also a showcase by about 150 brands in air-conditioned pavilions. They included marine service suppliers and fashion, fine jewellery and high-end audio equipment brands.
Visitors also had a chance to taste delectable nibbles from Meat Smith, Kult Kafe, Sofnade, The Swag Social, Latitude Bistro, WOK°15 Kitchen and the floating Boaters’ Bar. There was no shortage of drinks to wash them all down, such as bubbly at the Collet Champagne Lounge or Java at Common Man Coffee Roasters.
There were also dazzling displays of prestigious products and lifestyle brands such as supercars, high fashion, fine art and exquisite timepieces. And when the sun set over the marina, glamorous parties were thrown for invited guests.
Everyone, and not just boating aficionados, were catered for. For example, at the Elephant Parade’s booth, children aged 16 and below had a chance to try their hand at painting Elephant Parade’s iconic pachyderm models.
The Singapore Yacht Show had everything for everyone and was a success. If you missed it, do make it a point to attend next year’s event.
