Top 3 golfers of the BMW Golf Cup National Final 2025 in Singapore advance to the World Final

BMW Asia has announced the top three winners of the BMW Golf Cup National Final 2025, held at the Tanah Merah Country Club's Tampines Course from August 12 to 15, 2025.

Tan Lee Hong, Lee Kim Leng, and Wang Mei Zhen took top honours and will represent Singapore at the BMW Golf Cup World Final at the Fancourt Golf Resort in South Africa in March 2026.

According to Lars Nielsen, managing director of BMW Group Asia, the BMW Golf Cup National Final in Singapore was a standout event in the company's annual golf season.

"2025 was bigger than ever," Nielsen said.

Due to overwhelming popularity, the event was extended from three days to four, allowing more time for media, corporate partners and customers to engage on the green.

Nielsen also noted that out of 40,000 registered golfers in Singapore, 5% have participated in BMW golfing events organised by BMW Asia or its dealer partners, Performance Motors Limited and Eurokars Auto.

"Golf is one of the top three interests of our customers, making this event a perfect fit for their passions and a great way for us to connect with them while having some fun," Nielsen added.

BMW Group Asia is committed to fostering the golfing community in Singapore in the coming years for both existing and new players.

Some of the on-course engagements during the four day event included massages by members of the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, limited-edition merchandise, food kiosks, and cocktails/mocktails courtesy of William Grant & Sons. Participants also had the chance to win prizes in the Hole-in-One and Accuracy Challenges, courtesy of partners like BMW, Garmin, Leica, FootJoy, DBS, and W Atelier.

Additionally, a round of night golf tested participants' strategy, precision, and power amidst a striking display of neon LED light sticks. Illuminated targets at 50m, 75m, and 100m carried different point values.

BMW has a rich tradition in golf, and the BMW Golf Cup itself can trace its roots back to 1982 (with the first World Final in 1995). It is the largest international amateur tournament series with over 800 qualifying tournaments and 100,000+ players in 40+ countries.
