Out of the limited run of 1,974 units produced globally, a single 911 Turbo 50 Years has been earmarked for sale in Singapore at $1,377,058 w/o COE
Porsche Singapore used the occasion of the 911 Spirit 70 launch to unveil another surprise, the 911 Turbo 50 Years, which was first shown in 2024, the 50th anniversary of the 911 Turbo. (update: at the time of writing, we’ve been told the car has been sold)
Keen-eyed anoraks would have noticed that although the Spirit 70 is based on the newer 992.2 GTS T-Hybrid Cabriolet – a current model – the Turbo 50 Years is based on the 992.1 Turbo S.
However, seeing as the impending 992.2 Turbo S hasn’t officially been launched yet, the Turbo 50 Years still qualifies as a current model, not that its vital statistics are anything to sniff at.

Created to celebrate 50 years of the iconic 911 Turbo, the design elements of Turbo 50 Year are intended to evoke historic 911 Turbo models.
However, its performance is all present and accounted for, with the twin-turbo’d 3.7-litre flat-six delivering a hard-hitting 650hp, 800Nm and 0-100km/h in 2.7secs.

This particular example is resplendent in Aventurine Green Metallic and boasts cool “911 Turbo” livery on its rear haunches, which is a nod to the historic livery of a forerunner of the 911 Turbo, the 911 RSR Turbo that was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1973.
It also adds the optional Turbo Heritage Design Package to its repertoire.
This features even more special design elements and equipment over and above the standard anniversary model – which is already far from basic, in case you’re wondering!
The historic Porsche crest from 1964 is used on the front bonnet and on the centre caps of the Sport Classic wheels, with gold “Turbo 50” and “Porsche” logos bringing up the rear. There’s even a badge on the rear engine cover grille that features a turbocharger icon and the years 1974-2024.
Another historical nudge-wink is the use of Anthracite Grey on the rear wing blade, rear apron, mirror base and air intake trims. Furthermore, when the door is open, the LED door projector projects the image of a turbocharger onto the ground beside the car.

Within the cabin, the dashboard trim, glovebox and seat backrest inlays are covered with the classic MacKenzie Tartan pattern.
In a nod to classic Porsches, the dials in the instrument cluster and the Sport Chrono clock in the Heritage Design Package are finished in green.
