A Hyundai Ioniq 5, which transported the late Pope Francis during his landmark visit to Singapore in September 2024, is now on public display at Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) at 2 Bulim Ave, S(649674).
The visit was the first by a pope to Singapore and Southeast Asia in almost a decade.
Produced in Singapore at HMGICS, the fully electric vehicle was chosen by the Pope for its quiet operation and environmental friendliness. It served as his transportation during interfaith meetings and public masses.
