No, not Jeep or Alfa Romeo, but Peugeot and Leapmotor

Cycle & Carriage Singapore has announced the addition of two new brands – Peugeot (previously under Sime Darby's Vantage Automotive) and Leapmotor – from Stellantis, with the intention of solidifying its position as a key player in Singapore's automotive market.

The new partnership will see Cycle & Carriage commence operations as the new distributor for Peugeot (for sales and aftersales), effective immediately, while the company is in the final stages of formalising an agreement to represent Leapmotor in Singapore. According to LTA statistics, Peugeot registered just under 190 units in 2024.

“Our long partnership with Stellantis is built on a shared commitment to innovation, quality and customer satisfaction,” said Wilfrid Foo, Managing Director of Direct Motor Interests at Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited. “With Citroën, Peugeot and soon Leapmotor under one roof, Cycle & Carriage is well-positioned to redefine the automotive experience in Singapore, offering greater choice, cutting-edge technology and superior service. 2025 marks an exciting time as we work to expand each brand’s presence in the market.”

Three models will spearhead the Stellantis product initiative under Cycle & Carriage: the Leapmotor C10, a mid-size electric SUV; the new Peugeot 5008, a family SUV; and the new Citroën C5 Aircross, a bold and efficient SUV.

Cycle & Carriage has represented Citroën in Singapore for nearly two decades (based on LTA statistics, it registered 80 units in 2024) and with Peugeot and Leapmotor joining the fold, the company hopes to meet the needs of a wider range of customers.

To support the expanded product ranges, Cycle & Carriage will commence renovations at its multi-brand complex at 239 Alexandra Road.

The revamped facility will provide a dedicated new home for Citroën, Peugeot, and Leapmotor, enhancing the customer experience and reinforcing Cycle & Carriage's commitment to delivering exceptional service.

“Cycle & Carriage’s long-standing history of excellence in automotive retail is what sets us apart as the ideal partner for Stellantis,” said Wilfrid Foo. “Our expertise in delivering reliable, customer-centric solutions has made Citroën a household name for both personal and commercial vehicles. The addition of Peugeot, known for its luxurious cars and premium craftsmanship, and Leapmotor, a rising star in EV innovation, further strengthens our portfolio and positions Cycle & Carriage to continue delivering the best mobility solutions to all customers.”
