Featuring video animations, 3D projections, VR, dramatic room recreations and displays of artefacts, visitors will get the chance to experience a visceral recreation of what passengers on board the British ocean liner faced as it made the ill-fated journey from Southampton, UK, to New York City, US. This also marks the exhibition’s first Asian stop.

Developed by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in collaboration with the National Gallery Singapore, the largest French Impressionist exhibition in Southeast Asia arrives with groundbreaking works never before exhibited in Singapore. There will be masterpieces by iconic French Impressionist artists Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Paul Cézanne and Edgar Degas, among others. This landmark exhibition highlights the continuing relevance of Impressionism through themes of urban life, gender, land and environment.

What: Kings & Queen of Comedy Asia 12

Get ready for a regional laugh fest as comedians from Singapore and Malaysia (plus Daniel Fernandes from India) take to the stage for a one-night-stand (up) show. The island’s inimitable Kumar shares the spotlight with Fadzri Abd Rashion, while, from across the Causeway, come Dr Jason Leong and Rizal Van Geyzel of Malaysia. Expect scathing satire, sharp wit and wicked jokes galore. It is guaranteed you will leave the hall far more invigorated and de-stressed than when you entered. Laughter is, after all, the best medicine.

Fan of the German luggagemeister or want to spend $8,000 in style? Consider treating yourself to the new collaborative speciality piece from the maison: the Rimowa x Robbe & Berking cocktail case. For those unfamiliar with the latter’s name, they are a renowned silver manufacturer headquartered in Flensburg, northern Germany, close to the Danish border. Crafted for travel or elegant display, the limited-edition case houses a custom cobbler shaker, two tumblers and a jigger. There are also two custom-sized coasters, two silver straws and a bar spoon. These co-branded pieces are accompanied by a microfibre silver polishing cloth and a straw cleaner to keep everything in good nick, in style.

Having made history as the first K-pop group to achieve million-seller status with all six of their albums — including their debut — within the first week of release, Zerobaseone, also referred to as ZB1, makes landfall in Singapore this week. Comprising nine members, Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook and Han Yu Jin, their fan base, affectionately known as Zerose, will no doubt be out in full force for the Singapore stop of the Here&Now world tour.
What: Debut of Sophia, a new restaurant concept

Prettily perched at the crossroads of the famed Orchard Road retail avenue and the World Unesco Heritage Site that is the Singapore Botanic Gardens, The St Regis Singapore recently unveiled its latest dining room, Sophia. Specialising in modern Italian flavours, the kitchen is presided over by Angelo Sergio, its Pugliese chef de cuisine. But expect, of course, to savour authentic cuisine from 11 different regions of Italy. There is an extensive à la carte menu, but if you enjoy picking and choosing from a wide array of delectables, make a reservation for brunch on Sundays (complete with welcome mimosas and Aperol spritzes).
