Cycle & Carriage Maxus launches the all-electric MIFA 7 MPV in Singapore. Prices start from S$223,999 with COE

If you found the MIFA 9 too big for your needs, Cycle & Carriage Maxus has just launched the MIFA 7, the brand's all-electric mid-sized MPV, which measures-in at 4910mm in length, 1885mm in width and 1756mm in height, as well as features a 480km range on a full-charge.

It gets all the features we like in proper MPVs: dual-sliding doors, a "living room" ambience (or meeting room, if you so prefer!) and a massive panoramic roof for that light and airy feeling inside the cabin.

True to MPV form, the MIFA 7 also boasts 45 storage spaces scattered throughout the cabin, so the occupants in the three-rows have room to stow their knick-knacks.

With a 2960mm wheelbase, it has a commodious (and digitalised) interior, with the two captain's chairs in the second-row taking centrestage, while the 1.2m head-room (coupled to the flat-floor) means kids – and shorter adults! – can amble through the aisle easily when the MPV is stationary

“Maxus designed the MIFA 7 with the modern family in mind, ensuring that every journey is as comfortable as possible,” said Ms. Dawn Pan (pictured above), Chief Operating Officer, Multi-franchise Operations at Cycle & Carriage Singapore. “Whether it’s an outing to the mall or a long road trip, the MIFA 7 provides the space, convenience, and comfort that families need.”

The Mifa 7 is powered by a 90kWh “One Pack” traction battery – which was jointly developed by Maxus' parent company SAIC and CATL, a leader in battery technology – that delivers 245hp and 350Nm of torque to the front wheels. This MPV will accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 9secs and top-out at 180 km/h.

Fast charging with a DC charger at a rate of up to 120 kW is supported, which lets the Mifa 7 recharge from 5% to 80% in just 40 minutes. With an AC charger, the MIFA 7 charges at a rate of 11 kW, and recharges from 5% to 80% in 8 hours and 30 minutes.

“The MIFA 7 offers a seamless blend of power and efficiency,” said Ms. Pan. “Its impressive range, cutting-edge battery technology, and aerodynamic design mean you can enjoy longer drives with fewer stops for recharging.”

Two trim levels are available, with the Luxury priced at S$223,999 and the Premium, S$228,999, both inclusive of COE.
