According to MUST, Fong joined the REIT in 2016 and has been instrumental in its listing and tripling its assets under management (AUM) to $2.2 billion from $777 million.
During her career, Fong has held several roles in several REITs including the former ESR-REIT (now ESR-LOGOS REIT) and the former CapitaLand Mall Trust (now CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust).
At the same time, MUST announced the retirement of its chairman, Hsieh Tsun-Yan, who will step down on Oct 1. Having served the board for more than seven years, Hsieh is retiring as part of an orderly board renewal and succession planning process.
The manager of the REIT says it is in the process of finalising the new chairperson with the appointment to be announced in due course.

Units in MUST closed 1 US cent higher or 2.47% up at 41.5 US cents (59.6 cents) on Sept 29.
