Singapore Shipping Corporation’s executive chairman ups stake to 43.3%

Ow Chio Kiat, executive chairman of Singapore Shipping Corporation , has acquired 55,400 shares for $14,681, or 26.5 cents apiece. 

The shares were acquired via the market on Dec 5. 

Following the transaction, Ow’s stake came up at 43.3% from 43.29% previously. 

On Dec 3, Ow also bought another 100,000 shares for $26,000, or 26 cents per share. 

Additionally, Ow has a deemed interest of 4,315,000 ordinary shares, which are held by his wife, Lim Siew Feng. 

Shares in Singapore Shipping Corporation closed flat at 27 cents on Dec 9.
