Ow Chio Kiat, executive chairman of Singapore Shipping Corporation , has acquired 60,000 shares for $16,500, or 27.5 cents per share. 

The shares were acquired via the market on Dec 13. 

Following the transaction, Ow’s stake came up at 43.35%. 

On Dec 9, Ow also bought another 60,000 shares for $16,800, or 28 cents per share. 

Additionally, Ow has a deemed interest of 4,315,000 ordinary shares, which are held by his wife, Lim Siew Feng. 

Shares in Singapore Shipping Corporation closed 0.5 cents higher, or up 1.82%, at 28 cents on Dec 17.
