SINGAPORE (Aug 30): Singapore parents ranked third globally in the amount spent on their children’s education costs, spending an average of US$70,939 on their children’s education, according to the latest survey from HSBC.

That’s almost twice of the global average of US$44,221.

The survey, which saw 8,400 participants from 15 countries and territories, also found that millennial Singaporean parents are increasingly more interested to send their children abroad for studies.
